Around 8% of homes listed for sale in December 2024 were off the market in less than a week.
According to data from Lusa, 20% of homes remained on the market for one week to one month, 31% for one to three months, 32% for three months to a year, and 9% for more than a year.
When analyzing home sales by district capitals—specifically, residential properties sold in less than a week, based on the time their listings remained active—the Algarve stands out with the highest percentage, at 46%.
Among major cities with the highest percentages of homes sold in under seven days are Porto (11%), Leiria (9%), Coimbra (9%), Setúbal (9%), Viana do Castelo (9%), Ponta Delgada (8%), and Aveiro (8%).
